Out of the thousands of entries - it is with great delight that the distinguished photgrapher Karina Jønson takes first and second place at the WPPI's 2013 Advertising & Fashion category for the First Half Competition.

Karina's images have been acclaimed for capturing the most finite details. From establishment and composition to lighting. It is without saying - in photography excellence - nothing works randomly.

"Karina Jønson's photography is refeshing and vibrant! Her photographs are not the end result of any sort of photoshop treatment or power stabbing manipulation.
There is no doubt Jonson's photography shows dedication and creativity - highlighting contrasts, variation, contradictions and synthesis.

Karina manages to achieve a very rare elegance to her photos. She embraces interactions that emphasize her unique story telling - combining both textile and body!
Her work permeates a particular kind of love - in fact - her work captures a magical story. Simply put - Karina Jonson is an expert at producing an image that speaks a thousand words!"- Jens Erik Brook, Chairman, dff / Danish Photographic Society

“Federation of Europen Professional Photographers (FEP) has on Sunday 10 June 2012 awarded the young Danish photographer Karina Jønson, the title of Qualified European Photographer (QEP). Karina Jønson´s photographic portfolio showed innovation, creativity and a very high professional level.
There are not many who come through the eye of the needle in FEP. Only 431 photographers out of the more than 51,000 photographers as FEP represents, has achieved the great acclaim QEP, and at the highest level, there are 45 photographers who have received the award Master QEP. “- Bent Nygaard Larsen CEO dff / Danish Photographic Society
